Europa Park Fountain in Rust
Since its opening in 1975 the Europa Park in Rust counts as the largest family leisure and themepark in Germany. Around 50 million visitors have been counted since the opening. Whether in Holland, England, Greece, Italy or France - a variety of attractions, shows and events are on offer in each theme country.
In 1996 the operating company saw the need to refurbish the fountain, and the sculptures located around the edge of the basin, situated in the entrance. The choice of waterproofing material fell to AQUAFIN-2K, a product from SCHOMBURG with a track record of over 20 years. AQUAFIN-2K was installed on the basin floor, walls and all the sculptures. Since the refurbishment the fountain once again shines resplendent with crystal blue brilliance.
