Highly efficient flow-bed mortar - MONOFLEX-FB-SE
When fixing tiles in heavy duty areas flow-bed mortars can no longer be dismissed. In these cases bedding mortars are needed with which a considerably void-free bed beneath the flooring even with large format tiles is possible. Otherwise the risk of grout cracking along the tile edges or even breakage within the tiles exists at some point during future use.
The tile fixer has at his disposal a newly improved development in the form of the flow-bed mortar MONOFLEX-FB-SE from SCHOMBURG which can be used in heavy duty areas such as car showrooms, shopping malls etc as well as in domestic applications on heated screeds. MONOFLEX-FB-SE is a flexible, rapid setting flow-bed mortar for laying earthenware and vitrified tiles, ceramic with low water absorption < 0.5% (fully vitrified), split tiles, mosaics and natural stone not sensitive to moisture.
The adhesive has been tested to DIN EN 12004 as C2 FE and fulfils the required criteria of the data sheet "Flexible adhesive". The deformation in accordance with DIN EN 12002 is > 2.5mm and therefore MONOFLEX-FB-SE achieves the classification S1.
