Hotel Seedamm Plaza Pfäffikon, Switzerland

In 1987 the first plans emerged for a redevelopment of the area "in the bag" in Pfäffikon. Over time the initial ideas developed into the vision of the now realised Swisscom-exhibition centre and the hotel Seedamm. After 3 months construction the building complex opened in October 1998.

Products from SCHOMBURG were used for waterproofing and tiling in the hotel kitchen. Heavy duty areas, such as e.g. floors or tilting fryers. were primed, before waterproofing, with the resin-based primer ASODUR-GBM. ASODUR-EK2 was subsequently used as adhesive and grout.

In normal duty areas such as e.g. the scullery, the waterproof coating AQUAFIN-2K and the tile adhesive UNIFIX-2K were used. Grouting was also carried out with ASODUR-EK2.
