Special thin bed adhesive accelerates construction completion at the Nürburgring – VIP area in sufficient time for the start of the formula 1 race

This summer at the Nürburgring, the prominent race track in the Eifel region, a leisure and business centre for use all year round, was opened. In one part of the complex, in the TÜV Rheinland business lounge in the new BMW M Power grandstand, the completion of the ceramic flooring was achieved – speedily as it was behind schedule - using the flexible thin bed adhesive UNIFIX-AEK from SCHOMBURG. Just as the racing drivers are responsible for their own necessary grip on the track even in damp conditions, a special adhesive was found for the VIP guest area for a secure bond to the screed, despite the residual moisture, for the almost 2,000 m² of vitrified tiles – and in due time for the formula 1 race last July.
