The THERMOPAL restoration render system is used as a WTA certified system both internally and externally for the surface restoration of salt laden masonry work, often in combination with a horizontal damp proof barrier and/or a waterproofing slurry from the AQUAFIN range. ESCO-FLUAT
Solution for treating salts damaging to buildings

Description:

• Solution for converting deleterious construction salts (sulphates and chlorides). Lead-free, consolidates through deep-impregnation.
• Fluorosilicate treatment of old, unplastered masonry, especially beneath waterproofing slurry coats and restoration plasters.

Consumption:

Two coat application approx. 0.4 - 0.5 kg/m²

AQUAFIN-F
Silicification solution for producing horizontal damp proof barriers

Description:

• Ready to use hydrophobic waterproofing agent with deep protection through retrospective capillary contraction.
• Subsequent horizontal waterproofing against capillary rising damp in masonry work.
• Up to 95% moisture saturation when applied under pressure.
• Can be applied with either low pressure or without pressure.
• WTA approved system. (International Association for Science and Technology of Building Maintenance and Monuments Preservation.)

Consumption:

Minimum 15 kg/m² masonry cross-section.

AQUAFIN-1K
Waterproofing slurry, rigid

Description:

• Cementitious sulphate resistant waterproofing slurry against ground water and backwater, also under negative pressure.
• On concrete and masonry, in the structural, civil and hydraulic engineering sectors, interior and exterior, for new and old buildings.
• Technical approval for structural waterproofing.
• Powder component of AQUAFIN-2K.
• AQUAFIN-1K can be brush applied, trowelled or sprayed with suitable equipment.

Consumption:

Approx. 3.5 - 4.5 kg/m²

AQUAFIN-2K
Flexible mineral-based waterproofing slurry

Description:

• 2 component flexible cementitious waterproofing slurry against ground and backwater.
• On concrete and masonry work, in building construction, civil engineering and hydraulic engineering construction, interior and exterior, for new and old buildings, also beneath tiles, for channels, pits, manholes and liquid manure pits.
• Tested according to German building regulations for use in wet duty classifications A and B, for wet duty classifications A0 and B0 in accordance with the ZDB technical sheet "Bonded waterproof membranes" as well as for structural waterproofing.
• AQUAFIN-2K can be brush applied, trowelled or sprayed with suitable equipment.

Consumption:

Approx. 3.5 - 4.5 kg/m² (dependent on the service demands).

THERMOPAL-SP
Mineral-based splatterdash repair mortar

Description:

• Hydraulically curing pre-blended mortar for improved adhesion between mineral-based plasters and load bearing mineral-based substrates.
• Fulfills the requirements of the WTA data sheet 2-9-04D.
• As a splatterdash coat beneath THERMOPAL restoration plasters.

Consumption:

Approx. 3 kg/m² as a bonding agent.
Approx. 1.50 kg/m²/mm thickness as a uniform layer.

THERMOPAL-GP11
Air-entrained backing coat plaster - WTA

Description:

• Cement-lime backing plaster for the repair of damp or salt containing brickwork. For use beneath THERMOPAL-SR24 and SR44.
• As a backing coat and levelling plaster beneath THERMOPAL-SR44, THERMOPAL-SR44-white or THERMOPAL-SR24 for uneven surfaces for producing breathable and dry plaster areas onto damp and/or salt laden interior or exterior walls.

Consumption:

Approx. 8 kg/m² per cm thickness.

THERMOPAL-SR44
Restoration plaster - WTA with lightweight mineral-based fillers

Description:

• With high levels of air entrainment and especially high salt storing capacity.
• For producing dry and water vapour permeable plaster surfaces, especially in the course of the renovation of damp and salt encrusted walls in interior and exterior areas.
• For thicknesses up to 30 mm in one application.
• WTA approved system. (WTA = International Association for the Science and Technology of Building Maintenance and Monument Preservation).


• Up to 50% less consumption.

Consumption:

Approx. 7.5 kg/m² per cm thickness.

Restoration plaster - WTA with high levels of entrained air

Description:

• With a large number of air pockets and a high salt storing capacity.
• For producing dry and water vapour permeable plaster surfaces, especially in the course of the restoration of damp and salt encrusted walls in interior and exterior areas.
• WTA approved system.(WTA = International Association for the Science and Technology of Building Maintenance and Monument Preservation).

Consumption:

Approx. 9.5 kg/m² per cm thickness.

THERMOPAL-FS33
Fine smoothing compound for THERMOPAL restoration plasters

Description:

• Mineral-based fine smoothing compound with adhesion promoting additives, low stress and water vapour-permeable.
• For the production of a fine surface finish applied over mineral-based plasters as a finishing plaster or surface smoothing compound in interiors and exteriors especially over restoration plasters/renders THERMOPAL-ASP45, THERMOPAL-SR24 and THERMOPAL-SR44.

Consumption:

Approx. 1.4 kg/m²/mm thickness.
