Petrol Station with underground garage, Bratislava, Slovakia

One doesn't always see that which really exists. Invisible to the naked eye below a petrol station an underground garage was located. The JET petrol station was constructed to European legislation. A concrete bunded pit was to prevent the permeation of fuel, motor oil and brake fluid into the ground. This tank was provided with a surface coating of ASODUR-UBS and waterproofing of the dilation joints with ASODUR-EP/FM. The washrooms in the petrol station buildings were waterproofed with SANIFLEX and the tiles were fixed with UNIFIX-2K/6 tile adhesive.

A 3,000m² underground garage was located directly below the petrol station. The was waterproofed against ground moisture with AQUAFIN-2K. The road surface was coated with ASODUR-D2 to protect the surface against abrasion and mineral oils. The entire project was completed in early 2000.
